The network

Volunteers’ GPUs earn credit for the answers they compute for other people: recognition in BOINC’s unit, not money. Only volunteers who chose a username are listed by name; everyone else counts in the totals.

Statistics files

The same credit is published in BOINC’s statistics format at/stats/ (tables.xml, user.gz,host.gz, team.gz), rebuilt at most once an hour, with named volunteers only. There are no cross-project ids (CPIDs) yet, so Gridcoin cannot use it.
